Everyone on the grid will aim. We intend to land.

DARTS Motorsports flies the SEPECAT Jaguar, and nobody else on the grid picked one. Two pilots. Two gamers. Fourteen Sundays from Doha to Miami in 2029, and a scoreboard that only counts hits.

Fourteen Sundays.

The first Jet World Championship season opens in Doha on February 24, 2029, and ends in Miami on November 17. Five continents in between, a new corridor every round, and three stops in the United States.

Every round, with dates

First: Doha, Lusail.

Round one, the weekend of February 24, 2029. Expect dry air and something like 75°F. Nobody has raced that corridor yet, us included, so everything we do until then points at that one Sunday.

How a round works

—until round one, Doha
Thursday Opening ceremony. The Sky Village opens and the pilots and gamers are out in the paddock.
Friday Practice. We fly the Jaguar low, right on the corridor floor.
Saturday Qualifying. One run. No do-overs.
Sunday Combat heats, then the Grand Battle.

Four seats. Unveiling soon.

Partner with the team

We sign a small number of partners and give each one real room: panels on the Jaguar, a room at the Oche, airtime on Sunday. Terms on request.

The Oche

Our hospitality sits right on the throw line, as close to the corridor as the championship allows. Put on a headset and you hear our crew live. Every round is quoted in writing.

Team

Two pilots. Two gamers. A principal, a strategist, and a crew whose whole job is turning the Jaguar around faster than anybody else in the paddock.

Pilots

Gamers

The pilots fly the Jaguar. The gamers fight with it. Under championship rules, every weapon and every countermeasure is fired from the ground station, so the gamer reads the radar, picks the shot and talks the pilot into position. Two seats in the air, two on the ground, one score.

How we pick people

Talent is not the filter. Every team on the grid has talent. We look for people who can do the same thing fourteen times in a row, under the lights, in front of a crowd that paid to watch somebody miss.

We recruit pilots from military fighter and attack squadrons, and gamers from the top of competitive sim and tactical shooters. The crew comes from motorsports and from the flight line. A turnaround is really just a pit stop with a jet in it.

Open roles

The Jaguar

Britain and France built the SEPECAT Jaguar in the 1970s for one job: get in low and fast, put a single weapon exactly where it was told, and get out. Two engines, one seat, and not much interest in anything above a few hundred feet. We are the only team flying one.

Why a strike aircraft in a dogfighting championship

The corridor is low

Every JWC fight happens inside a marked corridor over the circuit, with a hard ceiling on top. That altitude is exactly where the Jaguar was designed to live. Down there, the fighters on the grid are tourists.

Stable at speed

At 1,000 feet and 620 mph, a Jaguar runs like it is on rails. It has no interest in turning. It wants to point, and in a sport scored on hits, pointing is most of the job.

Nobody else has one

Every other airframe type on the grid is flown by more than one team, so what one learns, the others can pick up. Ours is not shared. Every hour on the Jaguar teaches us and nobody else.

Livery

Intakes. The bull, and the only green on the aircraft.

Nose. The number 05, and an empty name rail for now.

Spine

The principal partner's name runs the length of the spine in cream, letterspaced like the wordmark. Nothing else goes up there.

Wing

Technical partners, over the wing, credited where their product sits.

Setup philosophy

The Jaguar passing low overhead, seen from below

We trim the Jaguar for the floor of the corridor and fly the whole round there. Other teams climb to look for an angle. We stay down and make them come to us.

The risk is the Grand Battle. If it turns into a climbing, turning dogfight, a Jaguar can get left behind. Everywhere else we expect it to pay off, qualifying most of all, where one fast straight run is the entire test.

Season 2029

Fourteen rounds, Doha to Miami, in the championship's first season. No results yet. Check back after February 24.

Calendar

Dates and venues come from the championship's published 2029 schedule and may change. Results and standings show up here once round one is in the books.

How the season is scored

Every round is scored on hits. Land one, gain a point. Take one, lose a point. Qualifying is a single run, and Sunday is the heats followed by the Grand Battle. No judges and no style points, which is why we named ourselves after darts.

There is a freight break in September between Monterey and Tokyo. Three rounds are in the United States: Austin in May, Monterey in August, and the Miami finale in November.

The weekend

A JWC round runs Thursday through Sunday, and all of it builds toward one afternoon. Here is how it plays out, and where you would be standing as our guest.

Thursday

Opening ceremony

The crew fitting a wing to the Jaguar in a trackside hangar

The Sky Village opens. Pilots and gamers walk the paddock while the crew builds the Jaguar out of its freight cases. It is still quiet enough to talk, so this is the day partners host. Bringing someone important? Bring them Thursday.

Friday

Practice

The Jaguar overhead in practice

Two practice sessions. We fly low along the corridor floor while the gamers map the radar picture against the circuit. No other team in the sport will have Jaguar data, so we guard it.

Saturday

Qualifying

The Jaguar held on the runway threshold, crew signalling thumbs up

One run. Like a single throw from the oche, there is no second attempt. Qualifying sets the heats, and quietly, it sets the mood for Sunday too.

Sunday

Combat heats and the Grand Battle

The Jaguar over the circuit at dusk

Heats in the morning, scored on hits: a point for every hit you land, a point off for every hit you take. The Grand Battle comes in the afternoon, every team in one corridor. We trust the scoreboard more than the commentary.

Where to stand

The Oche is our hospitality, set right on the throw line and as close to the corridor as the championship allows. During the Grand Battle, every guest hears our crew's radio live in a headset.

Grandstand and Sky Village tickets come from each round's promoter. Oche seats come from us. The Oche

What a partner gets

The Jaguar

Panels on the spine, intakes and wings, in shot for the whole Sunday broadcast and every slow pan down the grid on Thursday. The tail stays ours.

The people

Suits, helmets, the gamers' desks and the pilots' walk-out. All four athletes are on camera from Thursday to Sunday.

The Oche

The best seats at all fourteen rounds, your name on the room, and our crew on the radio. Honestly, most of the partnership happens here.

The debrief

Thirty minutes after every Grand Battle, the principal, the strategist and the athletes talk through what happened. Partners are in the room.

The data

The Jaguar's telemetry is one of a kind on this grid. Technical partners get access. That is the whole list.

The season

Fourteen chances to activate, three of them in the United States, plus the right of first refusal for 2030.

Three ways in

One partner per category, locked for the length of the deal.

Principal

Your name on the team, on the Jaguar's spine, on the suits and on the Oche, with the debrief and the data included. There is only one, and it is a multi-season deal.

Official

A category of your own, a panel on the airframe, a table at the Oche at every round, and a presence in the paddock.

Technical

For companies whose products go into the aircraft, the radios or the sim rigs. Part of the deal can be paid in product, and you get credit everywhere it is used.

We do not publish rates. Tell us who you are and what you want out of a season, and we will come back with a time to meet.

The Oche

In darts, the oche is the line you throw from. Ours is hospitality set as close to the corridor as the championship allows, at every round. During the Grand Battle you wear a headset and hear our crew talk the jet through it. The cockpit is the only better seat, and it fits one.

Inquire

Pricing depends on the round and the market. Tell us what you want and we will quote it in writing, for one round or the whole season.

Do not sleep on Thursday

Most people book Sunday, then spend the Grand Battle unable to hear each other. Bring the people you actually want to talk to on Thursday, while the paddock is open and the pilots have time. Save Sunday for the show.

Corridor-side seats go first, and at Doha and Miami they go fast. If you want the Line at either one, talk to us early.
